Upcoming Champions League Matches: Predictions & Match Analysis

Before each Champions League matchday, KheloExch goes through the upcoming fixtures and works out a predicted outcome for every game. Each UCL prediction starts with what can be checked: recent results, current form, the head-to-head record, and how both sides tend to perform at home and away. We then factor in squad availability, including injuries and suspensions, as well as the venue and match conditions. Bigger ties also get tactical analysis of how the two managers are likely to set up. Every match carries an estimated win, draw and loss probability, so you can see how close we think a game really is. Verified facts, such as confirmed team news and stats, are labelled separately from our analysis. The predictions themselves are estimates based on current form and available information. One red card or late injury can change any match, so treat them as informed analysis, not certain results.

Champions League Match Previews, Predictions & Team News

Before a big Champions League night, most fans want the same answers. Who is injured or suspended? What will the lineups look like? Each article covers recent form, the head-to-head record, squad news, key players and the tactical matchups most likely to shape the game. You'll also find the venue, the kick-off time in IST and where to watch in India. Every preview ends with our prediction and estimated win, draw and loss probabilities. These are estimates based on the information available when we publish, and team news can change right up to kick-off. Read them as analysis that helps you follow the match, not as guaranteed outcomes.

Most UCL Titles: All-Time Champions League Winners by Club

Since the European Cup began in 1955, 24 different clubs have lifted the trophy, yet only a handful have made a habit of it. The table below ranks the most successful Champions League clubs by titles won, counting both the European Cup years and the Champions League era that started in 1992. Real Madrid are far ahead with 15 titles. AC Milan follow on seven, with Bayern Munich and Liverpool on six each. Next to each club's total, you can see how many finals it has lost and when it last won, which shows who ruled which era. Paris Saint-Germain, champions in 2025 and 2026, are the newest name on the list. Arsenal, beaten on penalties in the 2026 final, are still waiting for their first. We update this list after every final.

1. Real Madrid — 15 Titles

Undisputed kings of Europe, Real Madrid won the first five European Cups from 1956 to 1960 and have added eight more titles since 1998, including their record-extending 15th crown in 2024.

2. AC Milan — 7 Titles

Italy’s most decorated European side dominated across multiple generations, winning their first title in 1963 and reaching their peak with legendary triumphs in 1989, 1990, 2003, and 2007.

3. Liverpool — 6 Titles

England's most successful team in European football claimed back-to-back crowns in 1977 and 1978, followed by unforgettable triumphs in Rome (1984), Istanbul (2005), and Madrid (2019).

4. Bayern Munich — 6 Titles

Germany’s football giant dominated the mid-1970s with a famous hat-trick of titles from 1974 to 1976, before sealing historic continental trebles in both 2013 and 2020.

5. FC Barcelona — 5 Titles

After winning their inaugural European Cup at Wembley in 1992, Barcelona defined modern football with an extraordinary golden era that yielded four titles between 2006 and 2015.

UEFA Champions League FAQs

Everything you need to know about Europe's greatest club competition.

All 36 clubs play eight league phase matches, four at home and four away. The top eight reach the round of 16, ninth to 24th enter the play-offs, and the bottom 12 are eliminated.

A win is worth three points, a draw one and a defeat none. Teams level on points are separated by goal difference, then goals scored, then away goals scored, with further tiebreakers after that.

Until late October, kick-offs are at 10:15 PM and 12:30 AM IST. Once Europe's clocks go back, they move to 11:15 PM and 1:30 AM, returning to the earlier slots from late March.

For 2026-27, matches are shown live on Sony Sports Network TV channels and streamed on the Sony LIV app and website. Channel allocations can vary, so check the day's listings.

We weigh recent form, head-to-head records, home and away results, squad availability and tactical matchups to estimate win, draw and loss probabilities. They are informed estimates based on available data, never guaranteed outcomes.

Previews are updated as reliable team news arrives during the week. Expected lineups are revised once official team sheets are released shortly before kick-off, and each article shows when it was last updated.

No. UEFA scrapped it for knockout ties from 2021-22. Level aggregate scores now go to 30 minutes of extra time, then penalties. Away goals only count as a league phase tiebreaker.

Real Madrid hold the record with 15 European Cup and Champions League titles, the latest in 2024. AC Milan are next with seven, while Bayern Munich and Liverpool have six each.

Paris Saint-Germain retained their title, beating Arsenal on penalties after a 1-1 draw in Budapest on 30 May 2026. It was PSG's second straight win; Arsenal are still chasing their first.

The final will be played at the Estadio Metropolitano in Madrid on Saturday, 5 June 2027. If UEFA keeps its usual 9 PM local kick-off, it will start at 12:30 AM IST on 6 June.
